The Rooftop by JG at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills Reopens with an Enhanced Look
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - The Rooftop by JG, the al-fresco dining hotspot located atop Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills and helmed by award-winning Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, will reopen on June 12 with new offerings and hours of operation following an enhancement renovation.
During a brief closure, the popular restaurant, known for its breathtaking 360-degree views of Los Angeles, saw the installation of a shade trellis over the rooftop to further improve the guest experience. The new expansive trellis will cover the dining and bar areas to provide adequate shade and heating for year-round comfort in any weather.
“We are thrilled to reopen our popular rooftop dining destination after this enhancement renovation to provide guests with an even more comfortable way to enjoy the outdoor setting as they take in the stunning views of Los Angeles along with a delicious cocktail and our fresh, locally sourced cuisine,” said Vanessa Williams, general manager at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills. “The Rooftop by JG remains the place to be in Los Angeles, and we look forward to welcoming guests back to the beloved dining venue.”
The Rooftop by JG will now open daily for breakfast from 8am to 11am, lunch from 11am to 3pm and dinner from 5pm to 10pm. Seating is available at the rooftop lounge area and restaurant only, as the bar remains closed. The restaurant will be capped at a reduced capacity, including a maximum of six guests per table, to meet current social distancing requirements and maintain the health and safety of all guests. Sanitation stations will be available throughout the hotel and restaurant for guest use, and person-to-person contact will be limited through pay-at-table technology and QR codes for menu viewing.
Guests will enjoy menu items including buttermilk pancakes or fresh, organic juices for breakfast, or favorites such as the lobster burger or signature tuna tartare for lunch or dinner created by Chef Jean-Georges himself along with Executive Chef Steve Benjamin, who oversees the day-to-day operations at Jean-Georges Beverly Hills and The Rooftop by JG.
All guests who dine at The Rooftop by JG must have a reservation to access the restaurant. All reservations can be booked by calling directly at 310-860-6566 or through OpenTable.
