Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead Introduces Elegant, Southern-Inspired Sunday Brunch Buffet
ATLANTA - Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead is delighted to announce the introduction of Sunday brunch to its culinary service at Café & Bar. Commencing on Sunday, September 22, 2019, Executive Chef Christophe Truchet will present an elegant, Southern-inspired brunch buffet for guests to enjoy, blending Waldorf Astoria’s culinary excellence with local flair.
“We are excited to introduce brunch service to the hotel and fill a niche in the Buckhead neighborhood with our expansive buffet,” said Executive Chef Christophe. “Our new brunch service is centered around providing guests with an abundance of delicious and elevated options that evoke the comforts of traditional breakfast favorites while offering a taste of classic Southern flavors. This is not your typical brunch buffet.”
Perfect for vacationing guests or for local gatherings in Buckhead, the new Café Brunch Buffet will showcase an array of delights for patrons to savor at their leisure. In addition to traditional breakfast offerings such as eggs prepared à la minute, Belgian waffles with assorted toppings, and an array of pastries, muffins and bread, brunch will showcase Southern specialties such as grits with cheddar and Southern Bread Pudding with crème anglaise and Chantilly.
Accompanying brunch items will be a bounty of fresh seafood, including east coast oysters, King Crab, shrimp and crab claws served with traditional accoutrements such as cocktail sauce, lemon garlic aioli, and lemon wedges. Patrons can enjoy these alongside Southern entrees including Joyce Farms Deep Fried Chicken made with a buttermilk batter and Bourbon Glazed Ham.
Rounding out brunch will be a sweets station for both children and children at heart, serving a selection of miniature cakes, including Red Velvet, Hummingbird, and Chocolate Layer. Guests will also find mini Chocolate Mud Pies and Peach Cobblers, as well as Bananas Foster.

Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead’s Café Brunch Buffet will be served on Sundays, with a first seating starting at 10:45am and a second seating starting at 1:15pm, and is priced at $69 per person.
