Twist by Pierre Gagnaire at Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas Joins Forces with L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon at MGM Grand for Exclusive Culinary Event, June 27
Collaborative five-course tasting menu showcases complex styles of two culinary icons, Chef Pierre Gagnaire & the late Chef Joël Robuchon
LAS VEGAS - Twist by Pierre Gagnaire, the world-renowned chef’s only restaurant in the United States at the newly debuted Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, has partnered with L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon at MGM Grand for a first-of-its-kind culinary experience at Twist on Thursday, June 27. The dinner will mark the first time restaurants by Gagnaire and the late Robuchon, both three-Michelin star chefs acclaimed worldwide for their iconic takes on modern French cuisine, have collaborated.
Jointly conceived by John Miranda, Twist’s chef de cuisine, and Jimmy Lisnard, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon’s executive chef, the tasting menu will feature an amuse bouche and five courses. Guests will be taken on a culinary journey of duos, in which each course will highlight each chef’s artful interpretation of a single protein. The menu is priced at $350 per person, plus tax and gratuity. An optional wine pairing is available for an additional cost. Miranda and Lisnard will be preparing dishes in the Twist kitchen and interacting with attendees throughout the evening.
As a special treat, each attendee is invited to visit L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon and Twist by Pierre Gangaire following the event for an exclusive offer. From June 28, 2019 through Dec. 20, 2019, attendees will receive their choice of a complimentary glass of Champagne or wine pairing upgrade with the purchase of an entrée at either restaurant. The offer is redeemable by mentioning the Twist collaboration dinner and available only for guests 21 years of age or older.
Perched on the 23rd floor of the luxury, nongaming Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, formerly Mandarin Oriental, Twist is lauded for its modern take on classic French cuisine and striking views of the glittering Las Vegas Strip. Twist offers fully customized four-, five- and six-course tasting menus that epitomize the freshest seasonal ingredients, along with a range of delectable à la carte dishes. A signature cocktail menu features an array of handcrafted options while an extensive wine list and the restaurant’s suspended wine loft take center stage in the sleek dining room.
L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon at MGM Grand provides an approachable take on fine dining by serving contemporary French cuisine in a welcoming, interactive setting. Counter seating with views of the kitchen allows guests to watch as talented chefs prepare the celebrated cuisine of culinary master Joël Robuchon right before their eyes. The restaurant offers a tasting menu and an á la carte menu featuring both small plates and entrees.
