Antonio Bugarin Joins Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills as Hotel Manager
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills announces the appointment of Antonio Bugarin as the property's new hotel manager, adding another seasoned professional to the world-class team dedicated to bringing unparalleled service to the newest luxury hotel in Beverly Hills.
Bugarin comes to the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills from Cabo San Lucas, where he served for 14 years as a key member of the One&Only Palmilla's award-winning staff. Since June 2017, he has been the acting general manager of the resort, helping to strengthen every aspect of the famed, multiple award-winning luxury property and to maintain its position as one of the world's very best.
The Mexican native studied at the famed Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, as well as at the Universidad de Guadalajara. Bugarin then honed his skills working at two of Mexico's renowned all-inclusive luxury properties, the Cozumel Paradisus, a Sol Melia Resort, and at the Paraiso de la Bonita on the Riviera Maya as part of the pre-opening team and beyond.
"Antonio is someone I know I can depend on, having worked closely with him at One&Only Palmilla for many years," says Peter Bowling, Managing Director at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills. "I look forward to building on that relationship here in Beverly Hills. Together we will make a formidable team dedicated to making every guest at the Waldorf Astoria have a seamless and unforgettable experience."
Antonio Bugarin agrees. "I'm thrilled with the opportunity to enhance the high-quality standards expected of the Waldorf Astoria luxury brand and am excited to begin a new chapter in beautiful Beverly Hills."
