SINGAPORE - Epicureans and full-fledged truffle lovers are in for a treat this November - Dec. 13, 2015. Guests can double up the flavors on your palate with these luxurious white truffles hailing from Alba, Piedmont Italy, and paired with authentic Italian specialties exceptionally crafted by il Cielo Chef Riccardo Catarsi.
Renowned as the jewel of Italian gastronomy, these versatile and golden-colored gems only harvest from September to early January each year with a precise ambient temperature. Its rare exclusivity is endorsed with the beguiling nature of exotic aromas and flavors, which enhances the seven Italian signatures specifically prepared by Chef Riccardo ,to captivate the freshness and authentic tastes of each combination. Uncover the maximal flavors of the white truffles as the il Cielo chefs shave off these truffles on every dish à la minute.
Gourmands can look forward to highlights of the menu served with the shaved truffles including the succulent Scottish scallops served with sun-dried tomatoes and porcini cream, ocean-fresh Cod fish ravioli with smoked leek cream and pumpkin, and the roasted quail with crispy polenta and carrots. Elevate the entire white truffle decadence with a mouthful of textures and flavors from the showstopper dessert - Roasted peach with Grand Marnier topped with the refreshing Madagascar vanilla ice cream.
The seasonal à la carte menu is priced from S$30 to S$72 per dish.
