Hilton Waikoloa Village Appoints Hans Lentz As New Executive Chef
WAIKOLOA, Hawaii - Hilton Waikoloa Village is proud to announce the appointment of Hans Lentz as the new executive chef of the 1,241-room resort. As a seasoned chef with over 25 years of global culinary management experience, Lentz will oversee all culinary programs, including 14 dining outlets, lounges and banquet operations. Chef Lentz will also oversee the resort's notable restaurant, KPC - Kamuela Provision Company, a winner of Open Table's Diners' Choice award offering locally sourced prime steaks, seafood, and Hawaii Island's most spectacular sunsets.
Prior to joining Hilton Waikoloa Village, Lentz was the executive chef at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel overseeing four restaurants, managing high profile conventions and exceeding corporate goals. Prior to arriving in Hawaii, Lentz was executive chef for a number of hospitality companies including Villa Rosa Kempinski Nairobi in Nairobi, Sheraton Addis, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Ethiopia, McCormick Place Chicago convention center and Intercontinental Miami, among others.
