Hilton Surfers Paradise Appoints New General Manager
GOLD COAST, Australia - Hilton Worldwide has announced the appointment of Fiona Pryde as general manager, Hilton Surfers Paradise. In her new role, Pryde will take responsibility for the 419 room combined hotel and residences property on Queensland's Gold Coast.
Pryde has more than 19 years' experience in the hospitality industry. She commenced her career in food and beverage and progressed through roles in front office, revenue management and sales and marketing before her first general manager appointment in 2009.
Throughout her career, Pryde has completed a variety of assignments in Brisbane and the Northern Territory, and most recently held the position of cluster director, business development - Northern Territory. In this role she managed Hilton Darwin, and three DoubleTree by Hilton properties in Darwin and Alice Springs.
Pryde is delighted to return to her home state of Queensland and believes the Gold Coast will continue to see positive growth as a business, event and holiday destination.
