Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa Celebrates Earth Week with a special ‘Dinner Under the Stars’
PHUKET, Thailand - Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa celebrated Earth Hour by holding Earth Hour Dinner Under the Stars: A special dinner created to raise awareness about the importance of preserving natural resources. The hotel is taking action locally to engage in sustainability efforts – from food waste prevention and plastic use reduction to homegrown food and community projects.
“At Hilton Phuket we have taken the initiative in being more active when it comes to protect the environment. This is why our team has signed a pledge in which we all commit to considerably reduce the use of plastic at our resort,” said Markus Kaliss, general manager, Hilton Phuket. “This event is our way to raise awareness among our guests and team members about the importance of engaging in sustainable practices. Every small measure we take today will have an impact on our future”
Team Members and guests at Hilton Phuket celebrated Earth Week through the following activities: Hilton Phuket’s Herb Garden’s First Harvest, Earth Hour ‘Dinner Under the Stars’ and the successful No Plastic Cup Campaign that encouraged F&B outlets inside the property and team members to considerably reduce the use of plastic cups and/or bottles.
