BUDAPEST, Hungary - Hilton Budapest, the flagship brand of Danubius Hotels Group owned by CP Holdings Ltd, has unveiled its brand new lobby along with its stylish new Bar & Café, Executive Lounge and Business & Meeting Center. This renovation is the first phase of a complete refurbishment project including enhancements to all guestrooms and meeting space.
Interior Architectural Designer firm Goddard & Littlefair has redesigned the 1000 square meter Lobby space to complement the hotel's imposing setting in Buda Castle District and meet the brand standard of Hilton Worldwide.
The team has delivered a sophisticated and inviting area with black and grey granite floor, eye-catching luxury artistic chandeliers, sparkling mahogany and silver wall décor, cozy marine blue coaches and full length windows maximizing the view to stunning Dominican Courtyard.
"We know our guests want an extraordinary Lobby that still feels like home and has some cosmopolitan flair to it. I feel absolutely passionate about the new design inspired by Hilton Worldwide", said Zoltan Arvai, general manager, Hilton Budapest.
Lobby Bar & Café with its U-shaped bar and designer sofas makes the impression of a "top-end bar and an English pub". The rich chocolate brown wall furnishing, vibrant copper and warm caramel materials and the cool olive sofas create a chic urban and leisurely atmosphere.
The Bar is complete with a short and tailored menu full of trendy bar-food classics, homemade pastries available late into the night. A comprehensive selection of coffee specialties, soft drinks are offered from well-known classics to a tempting selection of cocktails, wine and chilled beers on tap.
The Executive Lounge on the 3rd floor has also been refurbished, creating a cozy area for both leisure and business guests to relax in when staying on this floor and in our suites. Now, it has been boosted by an extension and complete redesign of the space, with new stylish decor and furniture, as well as the introduction of cutting-edge kitchen technology to improve the guests' experience. These new improvements enable the Executive Lounge to comfortably cater up to 50 guests for breakfast or a pre -dinner event.
The food & beverage offer has also been remarkably improved with snacks, a selection of crackers and fresh fruit delivered daily and hot dishes from 6pm. Along with self-service snacks and drinks, the refurbished Lounge also includes a business area with computers and Wi-Fi and HDTV featuring movie channels.
