Distinctive Luxury at Key Destinations

In South East Asia, Hilton’s luxury estate took top honors in destinations including the Maldives, the Philippines and Thailand, with Conrad Hotels & Resorts awarded Asia’s Leading Luxury Business Hotel Brand at the World Travel Awards.
Four iconic resorts — Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi, Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, Conrad Koh Samui and Conrad Bangkok — were prominently recognized as some of the world’s best hotel experiences for affluent travelers.
Forbes Travel Guide, an independent global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants, and spas, deploys a team of incognito inspectors to evaluate every property based on almost 900 objective standards during a three-day, two-night stay. After reviewing nearly 2,000 hotels, restaurants and spas in more than 70 countries, the following Hilton properties were conferred Four Stars in the 63rd annual list: Waldorf Astoria Bangkok, Conrad Maldives Rangali Island and Conrad Centennial Singapore.
Epitome of Gourmet Indulgence
Food is one of the most pleasurable ways to learn about local cultures and create memorable travel memories. Through their extraordinary settings and refined culinary techniques, some of Hilton’s most inspired restaurants and bars have created winning experiences.
The Loft at Waldorf Astoria Bangkok received recognition in the 50 Best Discovery 2021, an influential database for restaurants and bars operated as an extension of the prestigious 50 Best rankings globally. In a tribute to the nation’s finest epicurean experiences, Golden Peony at Conrad Centennial Singapore was recognized by the influential Tatler Dining Guide 2022 for its refined Cantonese delicacies, signature dim sum and artfully-selected wine list.
Exceptional Retreats for Wellness Tourism
As the world rediscovers the joys of travel, personal health and wellbeing have become a priority during decision making. Be it for business or leisure, Hilton hotels and resorts deliver exceptional spa and wellness experiences. In South East Asia, two luxury properties topped the wellness list: Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi was ranked the World's Best Private Island Spa by World Spa Awards 2021 while Conrad Manila’s newly renovated Conrad Spa was named the best Luxury City Hotels Spa, Southern Asia, by World Luxury Spa Awards.
Handpicked Favorites in South East Asia
Established as an independent and unbiased initiative to honor the highest achievements from the hotel industry, Haute Grandeur Global Hotel Awards’ methodology is based on quality feedback from guests, rather than the quantity of votes by a panel of judges or the general public. As a mark of exceptional hospitality excellence in South East Asia, five Hilton hotels and resorts received the highest recognitions regionally, as well as in Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Conrad Koh Samui swept three regional awards as the Best Hideaway Spa in Asia, Best Fusion Cuisine in Asia and Best Resort Restaurant in Asia. Hilton Bali Resort was named Best Resort Hotel in Asia, Best Family Resort in Asia and Best MICE Hotel in Indonesia. Within three years of its opening, Hilton Manila scored an impressive list of four accolades as the Best New Hotel, Best Leisure Hotel, Best Business Hotel as well as Best MICE Hotel in the Philippines.
