Coal Cellar + Grill Launches the Winter Food and Wine Series
ADELAIDE, Australia - Hilton Adelaide, as part of Hilton Hotels & Resorts portfolio of more than 575 properties worldwide, today announced the launch of the Winter Food and Wine series menu in Coal Cellar + Grill.
On the back of a hugely successful three-part Winter Food and Wine Series menu in 2017, Coal Cellar + Grill is excited to launch a brand-new menu for the 2018 series, featuring a curated menu of Goat and Gibson, Beef and Blends, and Venison and Vale.
June’s menu will feature Goat from the Adelaide Plains, served in a variety of innovative ways, and expertly paired with Gibson Wines. With over 40 years in the wine industry, Rob Gibson’s hand-crafted wines from across the Barossa focus on producing balanced, flavoursome wines.
The highlight for July will be the spectacular Beef Shank that serves two, locally sourced Thousand Guineas Short Horn beef from Hahndorf. The beef will be complemented with a selection of distinctive blends from boutique producers across South Australia; Spinifex Wines, Robert Johnson and Grand Casino.
The final month of the Series will bring a unique and tender red meat to the table in Coal Cellar + Grill – Venison. From the Limestone Coast in South Australia, Fallow venison is lean, delicate and high in protein, and pairs beautifully with rich Italian wine varieties from the McLaren Vale region – Beckers, Coriole, and Ministry of Clouds.
Coal Cellar + Grill has excelled in becoming the state’s premier grill destination, with the Winter Food and Wine Series an extension of the premium menu on offer.
The Winter Food and Wine Series is designed for lovers of meat and wine and is a perfect excuse to keep warm in the cooler months.
Peer Norsell, general manager, Hilton Adelaide, said that following a successful inaugural Winter Food and Wine Series last year, Hilton Adelaide will continue to grow and develop the concept into the 2018 season.
“The team at Coal Cellar + Grill and our expert sommelier have designed a menu that will introduce customers to a range of premium winter meats and a diverse choice of cooking techniques, perfectly complemented by a flight of South Australia’s top-quality wines,” Mr Norsell said.
The Coal Cellar + Grill’s Winter Food and Wine Series will begin June 1 and run a monthly menu throughout June, July & August.
