Christel Cabanier Appointed New Area General Manager of Hilton Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport
PARIS - The Westmont Hospitality Group, owner of the four-star Hilton Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, is proud to announce the appointment of Christel Cabanier as Area Managing Director of the property as of September 9th, 2019.
Christel started her career in hospitality doing an internship at a hotel in Antwerp as part of her communication studies. During this experience, she discovered her passion for hospitality. At 25 years old, she became the youngest female director within the European area. Later, Christel held positions as hotel manager of well-known hotel groups and independent hotels such as Park Plaza Hotels. While Christel was General Director of the Bloom Hotel in 2008, the hotel was named one of the trendiest hotels in the world by TripAdvisor. In 2012, Christel was appointed District Director for Radisson across France, Belgium, and Netherlands and was in charge of 13 Park Inn hotels by Radisson. Christel also participated in the creation of the Radisson RED hotels concept. She is passionate about travel and cooking and was a jury member for “Mijn Restaurant,” a Belgian show similar to “Master Chef.” Christel’s most recent position was General Manager of Hotel New York in Disneyland Paris.
She will lead Hilton Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport teams with more than 20 years’ experience within the hotel industry.
With the appointment of a new director and a phase of renovation of its meeting spaces, Hilton Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport intends to strengthen its leading position in the market.
