Hilton Honors Sweeps All Hotel Categories in 2020 FlyerTalk Awards for the Second Year in a Row
For the second year in a row, and as the only travel company to do so, Hilton Honors swept all six 2020 FlyerTalk Hotel Awards. The guest-centric loyalty program for the entire 18-brand Hilton portfolio was awarded Best Hotel Rewards Program and Outstanding Benefit by FlyerTalk members.
Recognizing the program and its complimentary breakfast benefit, Hilton Honors earned every FlyerTalk Award in the hotel category across the three geographical regions:
- Best Hotel Rewards Program – Americas
- Best Hotel Rewards Program – Middle East, Asia, Oceania
- Best Hotel Rewards Program – Europe, Africa
- Outstanding Benefit (Free Breakfast) – Americas
- Outstanding Benefit (Free Breakfast) – Middle East, Asia, Oceania
- Outstanding Benefit (Free Breakfast) – Europe, Africa
In 2019, Hilton Honors became the first program to ever sweep the awards in each of the three geographical regions.
This was the ninth consecutive year that FlyerTalk members cast ballots to determine the community’s favorite travel loyalty programs in three major categories (air, hotel and car rental). Given the global nature of these programs, 18 total awards were given across the three regions.
Nearly 100 rewards programs worldwide compete for Best Program, taking into consideration value, ease-of-redemption and customer service. Hilton Honors rose to the top among voters with its valued benefits, such as complimentary, healthy breakfast options for Gold and Diamond members. In addition to 2020 program extensions to grant Hilton Honors members maximum flexibility, members also have access to the award-winning app, allowing for contactless experiences like Digital Key.
Hilton Honors is also nominated for several 2020 The Points Guy Readers' Choice Awards, including Best Hotel Loyalty Program, Best Hotel Cobranded Card and Best Premium Travel Credit Card, with voting open until the end of October.
