Dine Like an A-Lister with Hilton Honors Vegan Cooking Classes
Share
Was your mouth watering at the vegan menu from Sunday night’s big awards at The Beverly Hilton? Hollywood’s elite dined on an exclusive menu from Beverly Hilton executive chef Matthew Morgan, including chilled golden beet soup and king oyster mushroom “scallops” over a wild mushroom risotto.
Now, Hilton Honors members can get a taste for themselves and learn how to cook the menu Hollywood stars enjoyed Sunday night. Executive chef Matthew Morgan will lead a behind-the-scenes exclusive Experience giving hands-on lessons at The Beverly Hilton. Chef Morgan oversees the menus and operations for many of Hilton’s high-profile events and galas.
Hilton prioritizes sustainability. As part of its Travel with Purpose 2030 Goals, it became the first major hotel company to institute science-based targets in line with the Paris Climate Agreement. It is also the first hotel company in the world to sign the Cool Food Pledge to reduce food-related greenhouse gas emissions by 25% by 2030. In its kitchens, Hilton has re-engineered some of its classic recipes. Hilton’s Blended Burger swaps out 30% of its beef patty for mushrooms and in so doing, generates 29% less CO2 than a standard all-beef patty. The company recently expanded its food donation program in the United States and Canada to reduce food waste to landfill and save 366 metric tons of CO2 this year.
The vegan cooking Experience is only available with Hilton Honors Points. Foodies who aren’t yet a member of the program can sign up for free and start earning Points instantly to use on Experiences any time they stay at one of Hilton’s more than 5,900 participating properties around the world.
Opening bids began at 50,000 Points and the bidding closes January 27.
