Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card Wins Big at Inaugural The Points Guy (TPG) Awards
The Hilton Honors Aspire card, one of four cards in our American Express cobranded portfolio, was chosen by The Points Guy readers as Best Hotel Cobranded Card and Best New / Refreshed Card at the first-ever TPG awards. The evening brought together frequent travelers and industry leaders to honor the very best in loyalty, travel and credit cards.
The four new cards introduced in January were designed to give consumers and small businesses more choice, more benefits and more value, whether they’re vacationing with family or traveling for business.
Over the years, the Hilton Honors team has listened to its members, gathering feedback around their preferred card benefits and the many ways the guest loyalty program for Hilton’s 15 world-class brands could further improve their broader travel experience.
It’s particularly meaningful and exciting to take home two Readers’ Choice Awards, as it shows that the refreshed card portfolio is hitting the mark for members. The award-winning benefits include:
- Complimentary Diamond status
- Two annual weekend reward nights
- Priority Pass membership
- $250 airline fee credit
- $250 Hilton resort statement credit
- Up to $100 Hilton on-property credit
- 14x Bonus Points at participating hotels or resorts
"With groundbreaking benefits like complimentary Hilton Diamond elite status and an annual $250 Hilton resort credit, the Hilton Amex Aspire card instantly became an industry-leader in hotel credit cards when it was introduced in 2018,” said Brian Kelly, Founder and CEO of The Points Guy. “It’s an absolute no-brainer for Hilton loyalists, but the benefits are so valuable that even occasional travelers should consider whether the Aspire has a place in their purse or wallet.”
Hilton is American Express’ first and longest cobrand card relationship, with the companies beginning their cobranded card partnership in 1995. Hilton has also been an American Express Card-accepting merchant since 1969. The relationship has expanded over the years to include a multitude of travel programs for the companies’ shared customers).
