Guests Can Live like Royalty with Hilton’s Royal-Wedding Inspired Packages
Hilton celebrates Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming nuptials with exclusive Hilton Honors Auction Platform experiences and packages for all guests
MCLEAN, Va. - "Your room is ready, your Royal Highness." Travelers who've wondered what it's like to live like a royal can soon find out at select Hilton hotels in the run-up to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's nuptials. As the couple's wedding approaches in May, Hilton is giving guests around the world the royal treatment with several royal wedding-inspired packages and events - including exclusive offerings for Hilton's most loyal customers.
Hilton Honors members will have the opportunity to redeem their Points on three exclusive royal-inspired packages available through the Hilton Honors Auction Platform. These packages up for bid include:
- The Royal Decree at The Drake, a Hilton Hotel: Guests will receive a one-night Executive Level stay at The Drake, a Hilton Hotel, a "Mum's Royal Tea Experience" at the hotel's famous Palm Court and two cocktails from the "Royal Pour Menu" at the hotel's on-site cocktail lounge, Coq d'Or.
- Celebrate the Royal Wedding at The Drake, a Hilton Hotel: In addition to the "Royal Decree" experiences noted above, by booking this offer, guests will also reserve their spot at the "Royal Wedding Luncheon" and "Grand Finale Royal Wedding Evening Reception" in The Drake, a Hilton hotel's Grand Ballroom.
- Propose Like a Prince at Conrad London St. James: Guests can enjoy a one-night stay in the Conrad Suite, a one-hour horse and carriage ride throughout London and a royal-themed afternoon tea at the hotel.
In addition to the above exclusive offerings, all guests - both those staying with Hilton and locals - are invited to celebrate their own royal fantasies with Hilton.
The Drake, a Hilton Hotel
Guests can sleep like a royal in The Drake, a Hilton hotel's Princess Diana Suite, which was customized for Princess Diana for her stay in Chicago in 1996. The hotel will also offer a plethora of royal-themed events and specials throughout the month of May. That includes film screenings of movies like The Queen for their "Film & Fondue" nights; specialty cocktails served at Coq D'Or and inspired by members of the Royal Family, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Invictus Games Foundation charity Prince Harry endorses; and a series of royal-themed afternoon teas at Palm Court.
On the day of the wedding, Chicagoans and hotel guests can make reservations to attend the Royal Wedding Luncheon in the hotel's Grand Ballroom. During the luncheon, the hotel will air a prerecorded screening of the wedding and feature the exact same menu served to Princess Diana during her stay. Or if they fancy a royal dinner instead, they can book the Grand Finale Royal Wedding Evening Reception, which includes a three-course meal, open bar and a live cabaret performance.
Conrad London St. James
Guests are invited to celebrate their own royal proposal with the help of Conrad London St. James. The "Propose Like A Prince" package, inspired by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's engagement, includes a suite upgrade, a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride and a private photoshoot to cap off the ride.
Conrad New York
Conrad New York is also hosting a "Propose Like A Prince" package that includes a two-night stay in the Conrad Suite, an hour-long helicopter tour of New York City and a private ring consultation with London Jewelers, which has designed a ring inspired by Meghan's very own engagement ring.
British Colonial Hilton Nassau
In celebration of the royal nuptials, guests can book a "Royal Honeymoon" package at British Colonial Hilton Nassau, the hotel where Prince Harry celebrated the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 2012. The package includes a three-night stay in the Governor General Suite, an on-site couples' portrait by local artist Allan Pachino Wallace, a couple's shark diving adventure and a romantic sunset dinner on the beach.
