KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - To celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival, a time of bonding and family reunion in Chinese culture that occurs when the moon is at its fullest, Hilton hotels in Malaysia launched a new gift box offering, the Celestial Blooms mooncake series, as a nod to the traditional belief that mooncakes brings good luck. The box of petite, golden-baked delights exemplifies elegant craftsmanship through unique flavours and local touches.
Each participating Hilton property in Malaysia offers a selection of traditional (from RM 30 nett per piece) and premium (from RM 35 nett per piece) mooncakes to choose from. The traditional mooncakes come in an array of flavours, including Pure Lotus, Green Tea Lotus, Tiramisu Lotus and Black Sesame Lotus. For those seeking something distinctive, the premium mooncakes come in special flavours, such as Dragon Fruit Lotus Paste with Single Yolk, Pandan Lotus Paste with Single Yolk, Durian Lotus Paste with Single Yolk, White Lotus Paste with Single Yolk and Mixed Nuts.
The mooncake boxes also feature local accents and nods to tradition. The round shape symbolises completeness, a vital part of the Mid-Autumn Festival celebration, while the cyan blue hue with delicate floral designs represents appreciation and thanks for abundant harvest.
