America has Voted: Hilton Garden Inn Debuts Inventive (and Delicious) New Menu Items

Driven by culinary trends and options that are important to today’s modern traveler, another new, delicious chapter is emerging for Hilton Garden Inn as part of its brand refresh. As a leader in food and beverage in the upscale hotel category for more than a decade, the brand is today debuting more (yes, more!) new menu items.
The “Sophisticated Bites” consumer voting campaign gave America the choice to vote on 11 contenders for three new menu items. Leveraging today’s hottest food and beverage inclinations, the voting categories included small plates, handcrafted cocktails and sweet treats.
And now for the drumroll, please. After more than a quarter of a million votes the numbers have been tallied. And award-winning actress, director and Hilton Garden Inn spokesperson Judy Greer, along with celebrity chef Dan Churchill, host of Genius Kitchen’s “Feast with Friends,” revealed the winning fan favorites at a menu tasting event August 22 at Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Burbank:
- Sticky Finger Ribs (small plates) -- Cooked low and slow, these baby back ribs are served with whiskey barbecue sauce, crispy onion and scallions.
- Cherry Blossom (handcrafted cocktails) -- An homage to the craft cocktail movement, it’s a blend of hornitos Reposado Tequila, lime juice, grapefruit juice and grenadine.
- Mason Jar Chocolate Fudge Cake (sweet treats) -- Layers and layers of chocolate cake and rich chocolate mousse, topped with whipped cream and caramel sauce. It’s a decadent dream.
These three new menu items not only capitalize on emerging food and beverage trends, they also reflect the brand’s commitment to listening to guest feedback. This includes travelers looking for bold and unexpected flavors that surprise, delight and resonate all at the same time.
As consumer dining preferences continue to evolve, Hilton Garden Inn is also introducing newly-designed bright and airy lobby and restaurant/bar areas.
