KAPAA, Hawaii and MCLEAN, Va. - Hilton Garden Inn, Hilton Worldwide's (NYSE: HLT) upscale global brand of hotels, today announced the opening of its first hotel in the state of Hawaii, Hilton Garden Inn Kauai Wailua Bay. The property, which is owned by Aloha Beach Hotel Partners, LLC and managed by Aqua-Aston Hospitality, brings 216 new rooms to the Hilton Garden Inn brand of more than 665 hotels worldwide. The newly-transformed hotel represents Hilton Worldwide's return to Kauai and Hilton Garden Inn brand's presence in all 50 U.S. states.

Hilton Garden Inn Kauai Wailua Bay is located on 3-5920 Kuhio Highway where the famous Wailua River meets the Pacific Ocean and offers dramatic views and picture perfect opportunities. This convenient location is ideal for a Hawaiian adventure and is situated near Lydgate Beach Park, one of the area's only lifeguarded, swimmable beaches. The property is within walking distance of Smiths Tropical Paradise Garden Luau and is a short ride from Coconut Marketplace and Pono Market. Wailua River Bay, Wailua and Opaekaa Falls, Wailua Golf Course, Lihue Airport, Fern Grotto and the Nounou 'Sleeping Giant' hiking trail are also nearby.
