This summer, one of Hawaii’s largest beer events returns to Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort. The Great Waikiki Beer Festival, featuring the best of local and mainland breweries, will be held on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016 on the resort’s Great Lawn. Admission gives attendees 10 four-ounce beer samples from a selection of more than 100 beers, which can be paired perfectly with beer-friendly foods available for purchase. In addition to general admission, guests can also opt for VIP tickets, which include exclusive early entry into the festival the ten beer samples, two food tickets and hosted parking.

On Dec. 25, 2015 the neighboring community of Rowlett was hit by a devastating EF4 tornado leaving 1,100 homes uninhabitable and many businesses also affected. Two Hilton Dallas/Rockwall Lakefront team members and several other Rowlett residents were affected and left without power for multiple days. Hilton Dallas/Rockwall Lakefront was fortunate enough to narrowly escape the tornado’s path.
