Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton to Arrive in Minneapolis
University area hotel will open doors in the summer of 2016
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. and MCLEAN, Va. - Hilton Worldwide (NYSE: HLT) today announced the signing of a franchise license agreement with Minneapolis Hotel Ventures and Kaeding Development Group & Prospect Park Development Company to build the 117-room Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton - University, joining the Hampton by Hilton portfolio of more than 2,050 mid-priced Hampton Inn by Hilton, Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton and Hampton by Hilton hotels. The 5-story building will be located at 2812 University Ave SE, Minneapolis and will be managed by Kaeding Management Group.
Located near the University of Minnesota, Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton - University will provide an upper midscale, focused service option to those visiting the university, and area businesses and attractions.

Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton - University will offer amenities, such as free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour business center with complimentary printing, a boardroom-style meeting space, pool, fitness center and full-service bar. The hotel will also provide free On the House hot breakfast as well as Hampton's On the RunTM breakfast bags, available Monday through Friday for those on the go.
The new hotel will feature Hampton's signature Perfect Mix Lobby, designed as an extension of the guestroom with a variety of seating and lighting options for both leisure and business travelers. Additionally, the hotel will feature TREATS, a new food and beverage shop filled with snacks, toiletries, local merchandise and drinks for purchase.
Guestrooms will be equipped with the brand's signature Clean and fresh Hampton bed®, LCD TV, microwave, fridge and coffeemaker.
