New Property Extends Hamptonality in the City of Cortez
CORTEZ, Co. and MCLEAN, Va. - Hilton Worldwide (NYSE: HLT) announced the opening of Hampton Inn by Hilton Mesa Verde/Cortez, its newest property to join Hampton by Hilton, the global brand of more than 2,000 mid-priced Hampton Inn by Hilton, Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton and Hampton by Hilton hotels. The 74-room hotel, located at 2244 E. Hawkins Street, Cortez is managed by AAA Hotel Developers.
Perched at an altitude of 6,200 feet, Hampton Inn by Hilton Mesa Verde/Cortez guests can experience the beautiful scenery and natural attractions that Cortez has to offer. Reservoirs and mountains are found to the North of Hampton Inn by Hilton Mesa Verde/Cortez, and to the South are the Ute lands, Navajo lands and desert landscapes. Immediately East lies Mesa Verde National Park, which is home to cliff dwellings and archaeological sites. Those venturing South will find the Four Corners Monument marking the quadripoint where Arizona, Utah, New Mexico and Colorado meet - the only point in the United States shared by four states.
