First Hampton Hotel in Downtown Minneapolis Now Open
The Property is Near the Area’s Art and Business Districts
MINNEAPOLIS and MCLEAN, Va. - Hilton Worldwide announced the opening of Hampton Inn & Suites Minneapolis Downtown, its newest property to join Hampton Hotels, the global brand of more than 2,000 mid-priced Hampton Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites and Hampton by Hilton hotels. The 211-room hotel, located at 19 North 8th Street, is managed by Interstate Hotels and Resorts. It is the first Hampton property to open in the Minneapolis downtown area.
Hampton Inn & Suites Minneapolis Downtown is a modern and convenient property located close to the city's art and business districts. It is near area attractions including Target Field, home of the Minnesota Twins, and Target Center, home of the Minnesota Timberwolves. The property is also connected to the Minneapolis Skyway System.

Hampton Inn & Suites Minneapolis Downtown offers amenities such as free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour business center with complimentary printing, a 650 square-foot meeting space that can accommodate up to 50 people, and a fitness center. The hotel also provides free On the House hot breakfast as well as Hampton's On the RunTM Breakfast Bags, available Monday through Friday. Guests can also purchase snacks and sundries in the property's 24-hour Suite Shop.
The new hotel features Hampton's Perfect Mix Lobby, designed as an extension of the guestroom with a variety of seating and lighting options for both leisure and business travelers.
