Mary Moore Appointed Director of Sales & Catering at New DoubleTree by Hilton Decatur Riverfront
DECATUR, Ala. - Cooper Hotels, owner and operator of the upcoming DoubleTree by Hilton Decatur Riverfront, today announced the appointment of Mary Moore as director of sales and catering for the 165-key hotel scheduled to open in June.
Ms. Moore, a Fort Wayne, Indiana native, previously served since December 2012 as director of sales for the Hilton Garden Inn Fort Wayne and Homewood Suites by Hilton Fort Wayne. Prior to that, she was manager of YOLO's Event Center in Fort Wayne.

Ms. Moore was recently elected president of the North East Indiana Hospitality Association before relocating to Alabama. She holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in hospitality management and tourism from Purdue University - Fort Wayne.
Scheduled to open in June after a $10 million renovation, DoubleTree by Hilton Decatur Riverfront is located at 1101 6th Ave., N.E., on the edge of Historic Downtown Decatur, overlooking the Tennessee River and Steamboat Bill Memorial Bridge. It will be Decatur's only full-service hotel, as well as the city's largest hotel, offering the city's largest banquet facilities.
