DoubleTree by Hilton San Diego Del Mar Celebrates Completion of Multi-Million Hotel – Lobby and Restaurant Renovation
Renovation Includes Refreshed Meeting Rooms and Guestrooms
SAN DIEGO – DEL MAR, Calif. - DoubleTree by Hilton San Diego Del Mar, part of DoubleTree by Hilton's fast-growing global portfolio of upscale, full-service hotels, completed a multi-million hotel transformation project, which includes a new lobby and restaurant, as well as refreshed meeting rooms and guestrooms.

DoubleTree by Hilton San Diego Del Mar is owned by SWVP and managed by Dimension Development. The construction/renovation project, under the oversight of Kobe Design, features a significantly enlarged lobby, including a Made Market and community-inspired Connectivity Center. The new restaurant features an indoor-outdoor bar and contemporary décor inside as well as a poolside terrace with outdoor seating and firepits.
Meetings & Events
The hotel's 5,800 square feet of meeting space has been updated with energy-efficient lighting, and now includes the Balboa room - a private dining room with terrace adjacent to the restaurant. Most of the meeting spaces feature natural lighting, and select spaces offer views of the resort-like pool area.
Guestrooms have been refreshed with new mattresses, in-room safes, upscale vanities with makeup mirrors and new closets. All standard and upgraded rooms include 43" flatscreen HD TV's. The eight Junior Suites and four Executive Suites feature 55" flatscreen HD TV's.
In addition to the warm DoubleTree Cookie welcome, the hotel provides a full complement of services and DoubleTree by Hilton brand amenities, including the Wake Up DoubleTree Breakfast, an assortment of gourmet in-room tea and coffee offerings by The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® and a refreshing array of the Crabtree & Evelyn natural skin and body care line.
