Doubletree by Hilton Royal Parc Soestduinen Opens Following Extensive Refurbishment

SOEST, Netherlands - After 16 months of full renovation of the Hilton Royal Parc Soestduinen, the hotel has now opened its doors as DoubleTree by Hilton Royal Parc Soestduinen. Together with the owners, a conscious choice was made to rebrand the hotel.
After the introduction of the DoubleTree by Hilton brand to the European market in 2007, it became apparent that the values of the DoubleTree brand would be a great match with the hotel. The warm signature chocolate chip cookie that all guests receive upon check-in demonstrates DoubleTree by Hilton’s values of warmth, friendliness and personal service for its guests.
Frederieke Boomsma, general manager, comments: “DoubleTree by Hilton is a brand where small things mean everything. It’s the difference between a good stay and a fantastic stay for our guests! If you look at the beautiful surroundings in the green area, the form of the hotel and the new interior, confirms the unique characteristics of the property. The renovation of the hotel naturally marked the time to make the change to the new brand.”
Refurbishment
During the refurbishment, all 113 bedrooms, 21 meeting rooms and Juno Bar were transformed, whilst the restaurant and terrace will also be renovated in 2020. The new interior was designed by Interior Consult, who were inspired by the beautiful surroundings of the hotel in choosing the colors and materials.
Trend in the Meeting Market
Large corporations are interested in different locations and want to integrate healthy choices by using outdoor space in their meetings. With DoubleTree by Hilton Royal Parc Soestduinen surrounded by nature, the hotel offers endless possibilities to completely tailor its offering to guests’ needs, which also includes a Health Club featuring an indoor pool, along with a nine-hole golf course adjacent to the hotel.
There are also three meeting rooms that have been thoughtfully designed to encourage creativity and inspiration, coming away from the traditional setting of a meeting.
Wilma Schoonderbeek-Netjes, director Netjes Beheer B.V., adds: “The hotel has a wide variety of meeting opportunities for large as well as small groups. The design of the building keeps with the fresh interior while still maintaining the intimacy that the guests appreciate. In the design we paid attention to the details and the service of the team forms the core of the DoubleTree by Hilton philosophy.”
