TOKYO, Japan and MCLEAN, Va. - Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort, the third DoubleTree by Hilton hotel on the island of Okinawa, Japan, which joins Hilton’s 15 operating hotels in the country.
Located in Chatan, central Okinawa, DoubleTree by Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort is a 40-minute drive from Naha International Airport and offers easy access to major attractions, sightseeing and water activities. Set on Chatan’s waterfront, just steps from the white-sand Sunset Beach and Mihama American Village, DoubleTree by Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort presents an impressive resort experience amidst an area filled with boutiques and retail outlets, restaurants and cafes, entertainment and family-friendly activities.

Designed to exist in harmony with its surroundings, DoubleTree by Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort offers 160 modern guest rooms and suites, a rooftop bar, two outdoor pools, a restaurant, lobby lounge and takeout café.
In addition to a family pool with a children’s slide and adult’s pool for all in-house guests, DoubleTree by Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort also offers complimentary access to an additional two outdoor pools and an indoor pool at the adjacent Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort. Guests can also work out at the 24-hour Fitness Center or relax at the Amami Spa. Other facilities include five function rooms for meetings and banquets.

The hotel includes 98 rooms featuring oceanfront balconies and 23 rooms with large private terraces and sun loungers. Four suites (60 square meters) are located on the top floor.
