DoubleTree by Hilton Expands UK Portfolio with Newbury North Opening
Fully-renovated hotel offers 113 Bedrooms, 6 Meeting Rooms and a Contemporary Lounge serving Starbucks
McLEAN, VA and NEWBURY, UK - DoubleTree by Hilton, UK's fastest growing upscale brand, and a part of the Hilton's (NYSE: HLT) portfolio, today announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Newbury North. The hotel, previously part of the Hilton Hotels & Resorts portfolio, converted to a DoubleTree by Hilton as part of a renovation programme overseen by Hilton Worldwide and Westmont Hospitality.
Ideally located on Junction 13 on the M4, Newbury North is situated close to The Newbury Racecourse, The Newbury Showground and the famous Highclere Castle. The hotel offers unique, contemporary accommodation in its 113 guestrooms. DoubleTree by Newbury North also boasts The Livingwell Health Club featuring a range of equipment, an indoor pool, whirlpool, steam room and sauna.
After the 2.24 Million pound investment, the hotel rebrands to DoubleTree by Hilton on the 5th November 2016. The hotel boasts the open plan Space Lounge, which will offer an all-day dining menu. Along with this, there are six meeting rooms onsite, all with air conditioning and natural daylight. The Oxford Suite is an ideal intimate wedding venue that can host up to 50 guests.
