DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs Welcomes Groups with Renovated Conference and Events Space
Completed November, 2016, the Revitalisation Unveils a Modernised Palette and More Flexibility for Meetings and Gatherings
ALICE SPRINGS, Northern Territory - DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs recently completed an extensive renovation of its conference and events facility, resulting in more than 850 square metres of flexible function space that can take guests from conference to cocktail in a day.
DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs upgraded all five dedicated meeting rooms with state-of-the-art ceiling lighting, offering several colour options to set any desired event mood or company theme. With offsite catering available, the hotel also offers outdoor cocktail receptions for up to 1000 people, looking out at the MacDonnell Ranges amongst native shrubbery and wildlife. Boasting 235 rooms with private balconies, three onsite restaurants, tennis courts, fitness centre and pool, all within walking distance to downtown Alice Springs, the eco-friendly hotel makes the transition from business to leisure effortless.
"DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs' refurbished meeting space is a fresh take on what was already one of the nation's leading environmentally sustainable venues," said Todd Grierson, general manager, DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs, Northern Territory. "The renovations have provided guests with more flexibility and control of their event styling, and coupled with modern onsite audiovisual equipment and Alice Springs' only Grand Ballroom accommodating up to 400 guests, have further cemented DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs as the Red Centre's ultimate event location."
Cool grey tones offer a neutral canvas to create anything from contemporary weddings through to sophisticated conferences, with breakout options in the pre-function foyer. The event rooms are transformed with a flick of a dimmable switch as the colour of energy-efficient LED lighting adjusts to suit the occasion; blue, green, aqua, purple, yellow, pink, orange and standard white are available. The lively organic carpet design contrasts harmoniously with quiet, muted walls for a refined and modern atmosphere. Guests enjoy quality finishes throughout, including fully refurbished restrooms and LED recessed lighting set in a monochrome drop ceiling.
DoubleTree by Hilton is located on Barrett Drive, between Alice Springs' only casino and golf course, within walking distance of many businesses and government offices, Alice Springs Convention Centre, shopping and dining options and is a 15-minute drive from Alice Springs Airport.
