DoubleTree by Hilton Los Angeles - Rosemead Welcomes New Executive Chef Jorge Vasquez
Chef Jorge Vasquez has joined DoubleTree By Hilton Los Angeles - Rosemead as the new executive chef, overseeing the culinary direction of the hotel’s on-site restaurant, RoseTree Bistro and Bar, as well as catering services and Polo’s A Grille.
A Los Angeles native, Chef Vasquez brings 15 years of experience to his role and has served as chef de cuisine at Orange Hill Restaurant, a fine-dining establishment in Orange, California; and Castaway in Burbank, California. He honed his culinary skills at restaurants in Alaska, Arizona and Florida before returning to his hometown of Los Angeles.
Chef Vasquez received his culinary training at the Art Institute of Orange County in Santa Ana, California and developed anapproach that involves working with local farmers and distributors to incorporate fresh produce and regional ingredients and flavors into his menu.
