Upscale Hotel Welcomes Guests to Centre of Glasgow
GLASGOW, Scotland and MCLEAN, Va. - DoubleTree by Hilton, one of Hilton's (NYSE: HLT) 13 market-leading brands, today announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central, located in the centre of the popular town. The property is owned and managed by Amaris Hospitality and is joining Hilton's Scottish portfolio of 16 properties.
Having undergone a £11 million refurbishment, this new hotel in the centre of Glasgow is home to 300 modern guest rooms, including three fully equipped suites. DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central also offers world-class conference facilities with Scotland's largest hotel meeting space, The Grand Ballroom. The ballroom can accommodate up to 1,500 meeting or event attendees, making it the perfect space in Scotland for large events, conferences and weddings. A further 12 meeting spaces are also available on site, all with natural daylight and state-of-the-art equipment.

Available for breakfast and dinner, the new eatery provides a range of European and British foods. Prepared by the Hotel Banqueting Chef of the year, Billy Campbell, the restaurant will be specialising in meat dishes, with the showpiece being the slow cooked Brisket. The Cask bar is also available on site and will offer a unique selection of local and international craft beers and fine wines in a stylish setting.
