HALL Arts Hotel in Dallas Joins Curio Collection by Hilton
DALLAS - The iconic HALL Arts Hotel in Dallas recently joined Curio Collection by Hilton, a collection of hand-selected, upper-upscale independent properties offering travelers local discovery and authentic experiences. Guests of HALL Arts Hotel that are also Hilton Honors members can take advantage of all the services and experiences that come with the Hilton name and its renowned Hilton Honors program.
Developed by Craig and Kathryn Hall, proprietors of California’s award-winning HALL, WALT and BACA Wines and founders of Dallas-based real estate company HALL Group, HALL Arts Hotel is the first hotel in the Dallas Arts District, the country’s largest contiguous arts district. Designed by HKS Architects with interiors by Bentel & Bentel, HALL Arts Hotel offers 183 contemporary guest rooms including 19 Dallas Arts District-inspired suites, a rooftop pool, a show-stopping contemporary art collection and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Each room reflects the property’s sophisticated style with soft, neutral hues and floor-to-ceiling windows, accompanied by luxe amenities such as Frette linens and Natura Bissé bath products by La Bottega.
“Our vision for the hotel was to create a contemporary, art-filled space where guests could feel inspired throughout their stay while experiencing all of the amenities and services of a luxury boutique hotel,” said Craig Hall, HALL Arts Hotel developer and founder and chairman of HALL Group. “We are delighted to expand upon the luxury experience guests have come expect when they come to our hotel by joining the Curio Collection.”
With a passion for the arts woven into the DNA of the property, HALL Arts Hotel offers a diverse collection of impactful, thought-provoking works of art that celebrate established and emerging talents. The property collaborated with former chief curator of the U.S. Department of State’s ‘Arts in Embassies’ Program Virginia Shore and longtime art advocate and HALL Group curator Patricia Meadows to curate a collection of specially commissioned pieces from artists around the world. The guest rooms and hallways at HALL Arts Hotel also feature local photographs that showcase vibrant scenes of the Dallas Arts District, which were compiled by Meadows following the conclusion of the Arts District’s ‘Through the Lens’ photography competition. The photos were compiled into a bespoke coffee table book that’s displayed in each room and available for purchase, with all proceeds being donated back to the district.
Perched on the second floor, Ellie’s Restaurant + Lounge serves as the property’s mainstay dining concept, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and in-room dining with live music and entertainment five nights a week. Inspired by Craig Hall’s late mother, Ellie Hall, the restaurant embodies her spirit of compassion, independence and tenacity through its menu and design. Leading the charge at Ellie’s is executive chef Eric Dreyer, who brings over 20 years of experience, working at culinary destinations both locally and across the country including Fearing’s inside The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas. Dreyer’s menus take inspiration from Napa Valley, offering coastal dishes of simple, farm-fresh ingredients that are informal yet elegant. Ellie’s also offers an art-filled outdoor terrace overlooking the Texas Sculpture Walk, adjacent to the main dining room.
HALL Arts Hotel offers over 6,000 square feet of meeting and events space inclusive of two multi-purpose salon spaces, the HALL Arts Boardroom, a 2,500-square-foot Grand Ballroom (able to accommodate up to 250 people) and outdoor Urban Garden. Each space is equipped with advanced technology, scenic views of the surrounding streetscapes and commissioned artwork.
With the health and safety of guests and staff top of mind, HALL Arts Hotel has implemented a number of enhancements in order to adhere to local government standards. The property is also participating in the Hilton CleanStay Program to help guests enjoy a clean and safe experience during their stay. The new standards under Hilton CleanStay include a Hilton CleanStay Room Seal to show that a room has not been accessed since being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, additional cleaning of common areas and items, contactless check-in, innovative disinfection technology and flexible housekeeping options.
