Bangkok Team Members join together to serve environmental and social causes
Hotel teams at Hilton and DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok joined together to support two initiatives that benefited their local communities, created employment opportunities and supported environmental sustainability.

The upcycling initiative has already saved 40 tons of plastic from landfill since its inception last year and created employment for local workers. The robes are then sold to market for THB 2,000 - 5,000, which generates revenue going back to the local community.
The second project saw the hotel team collecting food to donate to a local orphanage, the Rangsit Babies Home. The orphanage, which cares for 250 children from 0-6 years of age, has been severely impacted by COVID-19 as the number of donors has dramatically decreased.
