Curated Collection adds Las Vegas' Newest Resort to Hilton's Latest Brand
MCLEAN, Va. - Hilton Worldwide today welcomed SLS Las Vegas to its newest brand, Curio - A Collection by Hilton. Curated for travelers who seek local discovery and authentic experiences, Curio - A Collection by Hilton is a carefully selected, global collection of distinctive four to five star hotels.
SLS Las Vegas, owned by Stockbridge/SBE Holdings, LLC a joint venture of Stockbridge Capital and sbe Entertainment Group, is located on the bourgeoning north end of the Las Vegas Strip at the site of the former Sahara Hotel and Casino - a location steeped in Las Vegas history. The resort recently opened following a three-year, $415 million renovation including: the redevelopment of three existing towers, a collection of sbe's most beloved brands and the introduction of original concepts in a sophisticated, yet approachable setting.

The re-imagination of this 2.5 million square foot development features more than 1,600 guest rooms and suites; 30,000 square feet of flexible meeting space; a collection of seven Fred Segal retail boutiques and nearly 60,000 feet of non-stop casino gaming action including a high limit room and sports book operated by William Hill.

Every element of SLS Las Vegas' guest rooms, multi-concept restaurants and social atmospheres was conceptualized by visionary Philippe Stark in collaboration with Gensler. Starck's innovative function-meets-pleasure aesthetic has sculpted the finest restaurants, lounges and hotels in the sbe portfolio and redefines the industry standard in Las Vegas.
SLS Las Vegas features 1,613 guestrooms in three distinct towers - Story, World and Lux - ranging from luxurious 325-square-foot rooms to opulent penthouse suites spanning 3,300 square feet. In addition to a handful of exclusive suites designed by Kravitz Design Inc., each of the retreats is distinguished by smart elegance and sleek design. Fun, vibrant and unique, the Story Tower, consisting of 203 rooms, brings together the high-end design of an industrial loft and the intricate details of a boutique hotel. Sophisticated and sleek, the World Tower features a contemporary palette showcased across artfully arranged space in each of its 1,121 rooms. Comprised of 289 rooms, the Lux Tower offers indulgence and relaxation with an artful twist.
Guests can indulge in a variety of cuisines and nightlife offerings in every corner of the property. Food and beverage partners include: Bazaar Meat by José Andrés; Katsuya by Starck; Cleo; Ku Noodle; Umami Burger, Beer Garden & Sports Book; 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria; The Griddle Café; The SLS Buffet and The Perq. Nightlife, bars and lounges include: LiFE, a multi-level dance club with high ceilings for aerialists and performers to integrate throughout the space; Beach LiFE, an open air rooftop pool by day and a trendy club by night; The Sayers Club; Foxtail; the Foxtail Pool Club; Monkey Bar and Center Bar.
SLS Las Vegas delivers one of the most unique gaming destinations on the Strip. Stylish, sexy, comfortable and inviting, the nearly 60,000-square-foot casino features dramatic chandeliers, rich colors and an intimate vibe. The gaming area offers 790 of the latest slot and video poker machines, more than 70 classic table games, and a sports book operated by William Hill.
The hotel also offers more than 80,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor event sites, including a 9,000-square-foot ballroom, and 30,000 square feet of meeting space.
