New all-in-one site gives media direct and easy access to subject matter experts, photography, infographics, video content and more
MCLEAN, Va. - Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced the launch of its new Hilton Online Newsroom, Newsroom.Hilton.com, geared to help media easily access timely, trend-driven stories and source company news and background about Hilton, its 14 brands and 5,400+ properties worldwide in 106 countries and territories.
The global Hilton Online Newsroom is the first site to bring together all of Hilton’s 14 brands under one media home (with sub-homes for each brand). Designed to be mobile friendly for reporting and fact-checking on the go, Hilton Online Newsroom will publish a variety of social-ready content including breaking news, feature stories, photo slideshows and videos optimized for seamless media download and sharing. While it was in a soft launch state, the site was populated with tips, trends, story ideas, expert insights, and timely content featuring developments from around the globe and will continue to publish around breaking news, events, corporate initiatives and more.
The Hilton Online Newsroom will also publish additional trend-based stories focusing on seasonal and pop-culture zeitgeist – such as the growing popularity of rooftop bars with amazing views, awe-inspiring pools from around the world, tips for travelers running fall marathons, and a forthcoming story on travel destination recommendations inspired by award-nominated television shows.
