Chadi Nahra Wins Restaurant Manager of The Year For Bice, Qasr Al Sharq
Three additional commendations for Hilton Worldwide at inaugural Caterer Middle East Awards
DUBAI, UAE - Chadi Nahra, Restaurant Manager for BiCE at Waldorf Astoria’s Qasr Al Sharq in Jeddah has won the Restaurant Manager of the Year Award at the inaugural Caterer Middle East Awards 2009.
In addition, three Hilton Worldwide team members received high commendations by Caterer Middle East for their exemplary performance in their respective categories:
- Matt Pickop, Executive Chef, Hilton Dubai Creek - Chef of the Year category
- Daniele Chiari, Italian Sous Chef, Piacere Del Gusto, Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort & Spa - Sous Chef category
- The Kitchen Team, Ramses Hilton - Kitchen Team of the Year category

The in-magazine awards were established by Caterer Middle East to recognise talent and excellence in the Middle East’s growing Food & Beverage industry.
Nahra, who has been managing BiCE at the luxurious Qasr Al Sharq, Jeddah for the past two years, has been instrumental in building up a loyal customer base for the restaurant and increasing its beverage sales by 15 per cent while cutting beverage costs by two per cent. He was lauded for his leadership skills, his impeccable standards, attention to detail and keen eye for the latest trends in the industry.
