Hilton Luxury Brands Recognized in Prestigious Hospitality Awards, Forbes Travel Guide and Travel + Leisure 500
Fifty-seven properties across Waldorf Astoria, Conrad and LXR Hotels & Resorts ranked in Forbes Travel Guide 2021 Star Awards and nine properties ranked in T+L 500
MCLEAN, Va. - Last week, Hilton Luxury Brands, Hilton’s (NYSE: HLT) premier category of best-in-class brands including Waldorf Astoria, Conrad and LXR Hotels & Resorts, continued to raise the bar for excellence in luxury hospitality with recognition in two of the industry's most prominent awards, the 2021 Forbes Travel Guide Star Awards and Travel + Leisure’s 500.
All three brands in Hilton’s luxury portfolio were represented in this year’s Forbes Travel Guide Star Awards. Additionally, Hilton Luxury Brands saw an increase in the number of properties awarded 4 and 5 stars with three new hotels added to the list, bringing the total to 57 properties worldwide. Recognized for their intuitive, personalized service and unforgettable experiences in timeless locations, four Waldorf Astoria properties were awarded with 5-Star rankings and 23 properties across Waldorf Astoria and Conrad were awarded 4-Star rankings. With a global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants and spas, the annual awards emphasize exceptional service and the rankings are based on an anonymous evaluation by incognito inspectors.
Forbes Travel Guide also recognized Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi, which was honored to win Hotel Instagram of The Year for 2021. For spurring wanderlust, engaging with followers and providing stunning aesthetics, Forbes’ readers and followers voted the Instagram page as their favorite among hundreds of property Instagram accounts.
Additionally, Waldorf Astoria and Conrad were ranked in Travel + Leisure’s newly revived T+L 500 award franchise, recognizing the world’s best 500 hotels. Nine Waldorf Astoria and Conrad properties received the prestigious accolade, further cementing Hilton’s position as global leaders in luxury hospitality. Results for the 2021 T+L 500 are pulled from Travel + Leisure’s 2020 World’s Best Awards, a readers’ choice-based award.
“It’s an honor to see all three brands in our luxury portfolio represented in these prestigious awards. Above all else, these accolades are a true testament to our dedicated team members, as without their resilience and commitment to delivering outstanding experiences and unparalleled service to each and every guest, we would not be where we are today,” said Dino Michael, global head, Hilton Luxury Brands. “We are proud to see our properties recognized on the international stage for excellence in luxury hospitality, and we look forward to continuing to deliver unforgettable stays for our guests across our growing portfolio.”
