Conrad Hotels & Resorts Unveils Plans for Luxury Hotel in San Luis Potosi, Mexico
MCLEAN, Va. - Conrad Hotels & Resorts and Inmobiliaria Canels, SA de CV, announced plans to operate a 135-room new build property in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Scheduled to open in mid-2016, Conrad San Luis Potosi represents the first Conrad brand hotel in Mexico, reinforcing Hilton Worldwide's commitment to expanding its portfolio of brands throughout Latin America.

Located near high-end retail, residential, and corporate offices, the site for Conrad San Luis Potosi is a short distance to the city's state-of-the-art convention center, attractions and historic center - listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site within Camino Real de Tierra Adentro, the Royal Road of the Interior Land.
Designed by Ochoa Arquitectos and Profettional Design, the nine-story steel building with glass curtain wall will feature a signature restaurant and bar, more than 10,000 square feet of flexible meetings space, a fourth floor outdoor swimming pool and fitness center. Its 135 guest rooms will feature signature Conrad amenities, plush bedding, and spacious bathrooms.
