Canopy by Hilton Dallas Uptown Opens Doors of First Texas Property
Neighborhood-centric lifestyle hotel brings 150 “Just-Right” rooms and two dining options to Uptown Dallas
Owned and developed by Dallas-based The Javelin Group, the newest Canopy by Hilton is centrally located in Dallas’ Uptown district, just steps from more than 100 shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. Positioned at the intersection of Cityplace West and Oak Grove, Canopy by Hilton Dallas Uptown features design elements that speak to the history of Uptown, including thoughtfully chosen artwork, vintage bricks from McKinney Avenue and a refurbished piece of the M-Line Trolley.

The hotel features two food and beverage options for guests and locals alike. Canopy Central Café, housed in the lobby, a European-style café serving an artisanal-style breakfast that transitions into an all-day lunch and dinner menu, featuring dishes such as flatbreads and open-faced sandwiches.
Upside West Village, the rooftop bar and lounge offering unparalleled views of downtown Dallas, is a true neighborhood destination. Upside’s extensive mixology program, curated by Proprietors LLC, the team behind famed Death & Co bars, includes innovative craft cocktails, local and craft brews and a high-end wine list by the glass or bottle. The locally-sourced food menu features small bites and shared plates, varying from Citrus Salmon Tartare to Spicy Chicken Bravas, giving guess a true taste of Texas. Open from 4:00 p.m. to midnight daily, Upside West Village features a separate elevator entrance from the hotel.

The hotel features 150 “Just-Right” rooms, designed to provide a modern hotel experience, as well as to immerse each guest into the neighborhood culture. Each guestroom is designed to be a true reflection of Dallas through handcrafted furniture, Uptown-inspired artwork and residential amenities such as cooling mattresses, sliding barn doors and Nespresso® machines. Starting at 830-square-feet, the hotel offers two suites, named Travis and Cole, which feature separate living areas, balconies and upgraded furnishings.
Featuring 3,500 square-feet of flexible meeting space with stunning views of the Dallas skyline, the hotel is ideal for corporate and private events, as well as weddings.
Dog lovers are welcome at Canopy by Hilton Dallas Uptown, as part of the brand’s Paws in the Neighborhood initiative. At check in, each four-legged guest receives a “Paws in the Neighborhood Welcome Gift”, and their human receives a welcome pastry from Uptown’s Bisous Bisous bakery.
