Marrying Innovation and Tradition: Hilton Celebrates Mid‑Autumn Festival in Style

Creative excellence and culinary craftsmanship displayed across Hilton’s hotels in South East Asia with a unique take from each country

SINGAPORE - Hilton hotels across South East Asia are set to welcome the Mid-Autumn Festival with exclusive lunar treats of premium traditional baked and snow skin mooncakes, each with a corresponding signature gift box marking its creative excellence and culinary craftsmanship.

Culturally-diverse and gastronomically-rich, food remains a centrepiece for most festive occasions in the region. Traditionally, Mid-Autumn Festival celebrates an annual harvest following the summer, where families come together for thanksgiving and worship the moon for a bountiful harvest. The celebration has since evolved into a reunion feast, paired with moon-gazing, lantern displays, and the festival’s quintessential delicacy - mooncakes gifted in lavish festive packaging.

“The Mid-Autumn season is a great opportunity to showcase the cultural diversity of our region where we have hotels operating across nine countries in South East Asia. Each year, our culinary teams seek to outdo themselves creating delectable festive feasts complemented by aesthetically pleasing boxes suitable for gifting or personal enjoyment that meets the ever-evolving consumer trends and tastes. We are delighted to be launching a beautiful new collection this year that marries tradition with innovation to help families and loved ones reconnect during this period,” said Paul Hutton, vice president, Operations, South East Asia, Hilton.

Available from now until 21 September 2021, the 2021 Mid-Autumn series is a multidimensional feast of the senses - from sight to taste. Hilton welcomes guests to join them on an exciting journey of fine quality and exquisite flavours in participating restaurants and hotels:
