Vivian joined the Hilton Haikou in May 2016 and has demonstrated a dedicated attitude and strong sense of responsibility in her assigned daily work tasks. To Vivian's peers, this has not gone unrecognized; her qualities have demonstrated great enthusiasm and commitment in living the Hilton Values - Ownership & Teamwork.
She is responsible for the coordination efforts of F&B and Kitchen teams - both are large scale operations departments with nearly 200 Team Members. While this type of role can seem demanding at times, Vivian is very patient, warm and kind in how she treats every *Team Member she works with. She is able to convey information concisely and organize staff or other tasks in time to support deadlines and daily operations.
When one Team Member needed to take maternity leave, Vivian helped onboard the new trainee, shared in the work responsibilities and offered her exposure to additional experiences, such as coordinating a "check" and attending an important business meeting.
During high occupancy periods at Hilton Haikou, Vivian has assisted in both of their hotel's restaurants along with a banquet event that required additional support; actively helping the service team and extending her working hours in order to complete her own tasks, without hesitation.
Vivian's strong interest in photography helps her to volunteer in different hotel activities including the launch of Hilton Haikou's "book in cloud" activity, which involved sharing books with Guests. During one weekend, Vivian came back to assist her Marcom colleagues in taking photos. She is also the first to volunteer to participate in Team Member activities and community activities.
