Top-100 Teacher to Lead Golf Instruction for Hotel Guests and Club Members At South Florida Resort

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Boca Raton Resort & Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort today announced that Master PGA Professional, Kellie Stenzel will be the new lead golf instructor for hotel guests and club members. Rated continuously as a Top-50 Teacher by Golf for Women and a Top-100 Teacher in the nation by Golf Magazine, Stenzel has over 22 years of experience teaching the game.  She played collegiately at South Carolina's Furman University and professionally for several years on tours around the world including the Futures Tour, European Tour, Asian Tour, South African Tour and Australian Tour. Stenzel's Academy will feature Scott Munroe, another Golf Magazine Top 100 instructor along with other accomplished instructors.  The Academy will offer a variety of instructional services for hotel guests and club members ranging from private lessons to golf schools while incorporating the latest in swing technology and club fitting. The resort also has plans to develop a junior program and first-time player program.

Boca Raton Resort has two distinguished 18-hole championship golf courses, including the signature Par-71 Resort Course. A "Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary" which ensures the course preserves and enhances wildlife habitat and protects natural resources, the Resort Course is known for its distinctive water feature designed by Hugh Hughes. The Country Club Course is a Par-72 and features a signature 18-hole island green while playing to over 7,000 yards.

 A renowned expert on golf instruction, Kellie Stenzel has published three women's golf books: "The Women's Guide to Golf: A Handbook for Beginners," "The Women's Guide to Consistent Golf," and "The Women's Guide to Lower Scores," in addition to being a contributing writer for Golf For Women and Raised in New York, she comes from a long line of golfers with her grandfather and father both spending time on the PGA Tour.

Other prominent professionals who have taught at Boca Raton Resort include Sam Snead and Tommy Armour.
