Hilton Garden Inn Team Members Help Neighbors in Staten Island

HGI Brand Performance Support Director Sean Collard joined volunteers from four area Hilton Garden Inns in the Northeast (HGI Norwalk, CT; HGI Bridgewater, NJ; HGI Riverhead, NY; and the HGI Westhampton/Mount Holly, NJ) at the Hilton Garden Inn Staten Island to assemble 1,000 relief kits for those affected by disasters.

HGI team members from Charlotte worked with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina

Thirty-five team members from Charlotte HGIs worked with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina to sort and organize food, including canned and dry goods. The food bank serves 14 counties in North Carolina and 5 counties in South Carolina.

HGI team members build relief kits for the American Red Cross

Hilton Garden Inn Director of Sales joined other Hilton Worldwide sister brands and HGI brand team members to build relief kits for the American Red Cross and to sew baby blankets in honor of Hilton Worldwide’s Global Week of Service.

HGI team members joined BPS Director Jim Lorenzen at the Roadrunner Food Bank in Albuquerque

Forty team members joined BPS Director Jim Lorenzen at the Roadrunner Food Bank to load pallets to be distributed to churches, senior citizen centers and other organizations. Team members also made ‘weekend bags’ for school kids to take home with them on Friday so that they can have food for the weekend. The group also did some other sorting and organizing to help the food bank get ready for Thanksgiving.

HGI team members volunteer at The Cleveland Foodbank

Forty HGI volunteers from Cleveland worked alongside BPS Director Charles Stuart at The Cleveland Foodbank. One group sorted pallets of food, while another group assembled 2100 lunches. Yet another group actually prepped and cooked trays of food to be handed out to hungry neighbors in Cleveland.

HGI team members volunteer at the Northern Illinois Food Bank

Vice President of Marketing Judy Christa-Cathey joined BPS Directors Denise Tempco and Jay Jones, along with 25 HGI volunteers from the greater Chicago area, to pack more than 2,260 pounds of snacks and processed more than 400 pounds of Chex cereal into smaller bags in the bulk room at the Northern Illinois Food Bank.

Hilton Garden Inn, the award-winning brand of upscale, yet affordable, hotels, and Feeding America, the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief organization, today announced the launch of Holidays with Heart, a seven-week long holiday campaign to help fight hunger in America. From November 18, 2012 through January 6, 2013, guests who book the Holidays with Heart room rate* will receive complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast and Hilton Garden Inn will make a donation to Feeding America that will help provide 400,000 meals to families that need it most.

Hilton Garden Inn lends a hand to Second Harvest Food Bank of Jacksonville

Team members from the Hilton Garden Inns Ponte Vedra, Orange Park, and Deerwood Park kicked off Hilton Worldwide’s first ever Global Week of Service on Saturday, November 10. The three Hilton Garden Inns partnered with members from the Ponte Vedra Beach Sunset Rotary Club and the Ponte Vedra High School Interact Club. The group of about 35 team members volunteered at Second Harvest Food Bank of Jacksonville Saturday morning by unpacking boxes and sorting foods.
