EMEA Communications Team

Building relationships is a critical route to success for Hilton globally, and is key to bringing our Purpose to life and showcasing Hilton hospitality. This is true for teams across the business - and particularly in Communications! With lots of activity going on in different regions, it was great to see the EMEA Communications team showcasing a great example of this last week at their annual Christmas Media Mixer.

The event, which was held at the newly refurbished The Trafalgar St James London, Curio Collection by Hilton, hosted over 40 members of the media- ranging from consumer, trade and business titles including The Daily Telegraph, National Geographic Traveller, and The Caterer. Senior leaders Steve Cassidy and Jon Scott also made an appearance on the night!

The evening started on the hotel's destination rooftop bar with panoramic views of central London, mulled wine and canapés. As the evening went on, Guests were led down to Biblio - the hotel's private room - where they were welcomed to their very own magician and illustrator capturing attendees on the night, and of course more food and drinks to mingle!

Media relationships are key for the Communications team, providing a platform to share the great stories that demonstrate our Purpose and help position us as industry leaders - from development news and innovative initiatives, to Executive profiling and Team Member spotlights.
