Meet Jodie Hanna‍, Lobby Concierge at Boca Raton Resort & Club, Waldorf Astoria Resort.

The Story

"I really like to treat my Guests as family. It is important for them to feel like the resort is their home away from home," says Jodie Hanna, Lobby Concierge at Boca Raton Resort & Club, Waldorf Astoria Resort.

Jodie, who has been with the property for eight years, has a personal connection with many of the long-time repeat Guests. Every day, Jodie works to bring our Purpose to life with gestures big and small - from a handwritten welcome note and upgrading repeat Guests (based on availability), to surprising a Guest with her favorite cookies from a bakery in Detroit.

This past Christmas Day a Guest approached Jodie with a request for a personal item for his young daughter. He did not have a car and most of the stores in the area were closed for the holiday. Having a young daughter, Jodie was able to relate to the Guest and personally went to find the item and have it ready for the Guest the next day.

The genuine and anticipatory service Jodie provides is what Hilton hospitality is all about. Her passion for delivering heartfelt experiences has earned her recognition as the most frequently mentioned Boca Raton Resort & Club Team Member on TripAdvisor.

"Richard Hess and his staff, especially Jodi, our Concierge are just truly amazing. We stay just a couple of times a year, and with all the Guests they meet, I am always greeted warmly like an old friend...The amazing part of the hotel is how your every need is anticipated and fulfilled flawlessly," one TripAdvisor review reads.
