DoubleTree by Hilton Deadwood at Cadillac Jack’s to join Tru by Hilton later this year as first-ever dual-branded property featuring the two Hilton brands
DEADWOOD, S.D. - Hilton's (NYSE: HLT) new, midscale hotel brand, Tru by Hilton, today announced the opening of its latest property, Tru by Hilton Deadwood in South Dakota. The property will be part of the first-ever Tru by Hilton and DoubleTree by Hilton dual-branded property when DoubleTree by Hilton Deadwood at Cadillac Jack’s opens later this year, which is converting from the existing Cadillac Jack’s Hotel. This revolutionary, dual-branded hotel is one example of the many ways Hilton brands are teaming up to provide a more diverse lodging offering for a broader variety of travelers.
As one of Hilton’s newest brands, Tru by Hilton offers a vibrant, spirited stay that is grounded in value, which will be complemented by the DoubleTree by Hilton focus on the little details that have a big impact. Both brands offer a unique, contemporary experience, allowing the new dual-branded hotel to bridge the gap between simplified and upscale amenities. Developed from the ground up using consumer and owner feedback, Tru by Hilton is a game-changer that appeals cross-generationally to travelers looking for an innovative, affordable hotel experience. The DoubleTree by Hilton signature welcome – starting with the signature, warm DoubleTree Cookie at check-in – and thoughtful touches make travel better throughout every stay.
“We are extremely proud to join the Tru by Hilton brand and introduce travelers to this new midscale lodging offering,” said Shawn Miller, General Manager. “Our ideal location, unique set of offerings and affordable price make us a desirable choice for guests visiting the Deadwood area.”
The properties, managed by Liv Hospitality, LLC, are located on historic Main Street in the center of The Black Hills’ most popular attractions, including Mount Rushmore National Monument, Devil’s Tower National Monument, Spearfish Canyon, Badlands National Park and Black Hills National Forest, making it the ideal place to stay for travelers looking for outdoor adventure.
Tru by Hilton Deadwood will share a fitness center with the adjacent DoubleTree by Hilton property, while each will have their own food and beverage outlets and business centers. The attached Cadillac Jack’s Gaming Resort features a casino with slot machines, onsite nightclub, poker room and table games, including blackjack, craps, and roulette. Additionally, Cadillac Jack’s Gaming Resort has several dining options, including Earl of Sandwich, Made Market serving Starbucks®, Guadalajara’s Mexican Restaurant, Marco’s Pizza and FLYT Steakhouse by Alpine Inn, which will also be serving the DoubleTree by Hilton breakfast.
The 108-room Tru by Hilton features the amenities and experiences that matter most to guests, including comfortable beds, smaller, more efficiently designed rooms, large bathrooms with premium bath amenities, top-rate in-room entertainment, a complimentary build-your-own "Top It" breakfast bar with hot items, a 2,880-square-foot lobby with areas for guests to work, play games, eat and lounge, and a 24/7 "Eat. & Sip." market with gourmet snacks and drinks, including single-serve wine and beer. The tech-savvy hotels feature mobile check-in, Digital Key, free Wi-Fi, remote printing, a social media wall, lobby tablets and accessibility to outlets everywhere.
When the DoubleTree by Hilton completes its conversion from the existing Cadillac Jack’s hotel later this year, it will include 107 stylish guest rooms and suites, and modern amenities including a business center, three banquet spaces with a dedicated event staff, a 24-hour lobby market, room service, and three restaurants.
