NEW YORK - DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel New York City - Chelsea, part of DoubleTree by Hilton’s fast-growing global portfolio of upscale, full-service hotels, is placing the finishing touches on a $1.9 million hotel transformation project, which includes renovations to the entryway, lobby, front-desk, lounge area, restaurant and bar, business center and upgrades to guest rooms.

The modernization of the 26-story hotel is underway, ensuring guests enjoy the most up-to-date architecture and design. This comprehensive modernization of the property is designed to enhance every interaction that guests have with the hotel.
Following the renovations, guests will not be able to pass the outdoor patio space without feeling the need to find a spot to connect and socialize while taking in the city view. This outdoor area was designed with travelers’ in mind and is complete with Wi-Fi capabilities, sleek yet comfortable seating and the perfect atmosphere to unwind from the rush of city life.
The transformation continues through the lobby, as guests find themselves surrounded with warm, welcoming tones, with hints of lustrous metallic gold woven throughout. Guests will be quick to notice the welcoming sense of arrival as they make their way through the lobby and utilize the fully-updated, open space business center.
The most exciting element of the complete modernization of the hotel is the transformation of the restaurant and bar area.
Each room has been overhauled with new furniture and additional amenities, including refrigerators in each room, adding to the efficiency for guests. The beautiful design was created by DiStudio and will be executed by All Seasons.
