DoubleTree by Hilton Denver Completes First Phase of $17 Million Hotel Transformation
DENVER - DoubleTree by Hilton Denver, part of DoubleTree by Hilton’s fast-growing, global portfolio of more than 540 upscale, full-service hotels, has launched its first-floor redesign that begins a $17 million hotel transformation project. The hotel’s lobby has undergone a complete transformation, which now features a new restaurant, Knife & Board; a new urban market serving Starbucks and other items for on-the-go; and spotlights a central bar, The HUB. Renovations to DoubleTree by Hilton Denver guest rooms began Dec. 1, 2018 and will continue into the next phase.
“We are thrilled to introduce our restaurant, Knife & Board, to the Stapleton Community. We deliver our guests and neighbors an experience that rivals and exceeds that of any local restaurant and market,” said Allen Paty, general manager, DoubleTree by Hilton Denver. “The renovations are strategically planned to reinforce our commitment to hospitality and further developing the Community, while creating as little disruption to our guests as possible.”
The hotel provides a complement of services and brand amenities, including 32,000 square feet of meeting space, outdoor pool and hot tub, complimentary shuttle to Central Park Station on the A-Line commuter rail, 24-hour fitness center, and complimentary Wi-Fi in all public space.
DoubleTree by Hilton Denver is a cornerstone of the Stapleton Community, which is a redevelopment of 7.5 square miles of runways, concourses and terminals at the former Stapleton International Airport. The Stapleton Community transformation began in 1995 as one of the country’s largest urban in-fill redevelopment ever.
